From 1980 to 1987 I was the Skipper of this 58' Classic M.M. Davis & Sons Trawler. During that time I was in charge of all daily and travel operations. I had one full time deck hand that helped while docking and under weigh, and kept the boat clean and shiny. I hired numerous subcontractors for major maintenance projects such as painting, varnishing, electrical (full rewire), and engine mechanical. I performed major remodeling on the interior and topsides.

The Double Eagle was kept in Marina Del Rey, CA at the time and our destinations varied from a short harbor cruise with guests, to Catalina Island for the summer, and all around Southern California.
